 Danny Hughes, tasked with solving a series of strange murderous crimes involving a deadly rouge gallery of hitman, human traffickers, serial killers and many other dark entities who fill the the bloody under-belly of Dallas Texas home. Whilst being constantly surrounded by corruption in all layers of life. He becomes staggered by a deep pain. The death of his finance five years ago. Creating pings of regret hit his heart like pale stones drifting down a sleepy river. A demon, name unknown is seen in his reflection. Right after her death a whisper coming for this wretched thing,  something that Danny couldn't hear. Overtime the voice and its face became louder singing about suicide. Danny, must solve this recent spade of violent crime while fighting his literally inner demon in a battle of wills. 

Danny Hughes the homicide detective of Dallas TX, he has seen his fair share of bad luck, between the pain of losing his fiancé due to his own carelessness, to now investigating a violent kidnapping, of an entire family in an affluent neighborhood on the north side of town.  Texas is now its own sovereign entity, it is now no longer a part of the United States. Politicians are now all corrupt. Making the laws dependent on the neighborhood you live in.

On top of all this, both him and his partner Jacob are wildly addicted to substances like alcohol and gambling. Due to his many sins a demon formed from the fires of his own hate, it calls itself the red disgust. This thing whispers into his ears constantly telling Danny to commit suicide, only way to slow the demon down is to drink more alcohol.

Danny Hughes has a huge set of trials and tribulations to go through. He's in for an uphill battle against both physical and spiritual forces.

Does Danny have what it takes to remain sane, alive, and actually capture the culprits responsible?
